Nutella Gelato: A Homemade Italian Dessert
Italy has gifted the world with two culinary masterpieces that captivate from the first bite: creamy gelato and the legendary Nutella hazelnut and cocoa spread. And what if we combined them? We got a velvety, flavorful gelato that's easy to make at home. Today we'll make it with the Tooa Family ice cream maker, which automatically freezes the mixture and transforms it into the perfect gelato for the whole family.
Why is gelato different from regular industrial ice cream?
Italian gelato has a denser consistency and a more intense flavor. It contains less fat and air than regular gelato, but more milk and natural ingredients. Nutella adds a unique aromatic and chocolatey touch.

-
Whole milk — 500 ml
-
Cream 33% — 200 ml
-
Nutella — 200 g
-
Sugar — 80 g
-

Heat the milk and half the sugar without boiling.

-
Pour the hot milk over the egg yolks, stirring.
